About The Soul Stretch Team

Lead Facilitator

Sarah Galambos

I'm a certified transformation coach, yoga teacher and intuitive energy/Reiki master. In my former life, I graduated from Agnes Scott College with a degree in psychology. I taught grades K-12 off and on for 20 years and I loved almost every minute of it. When I realized I was coaching and practicing Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction with my kindergartners more than focusing on Common Core Curriculum, I decided it was time to pursue what I love most. So I created Soul Stretch by Sarah, a passion project allowing me teach at an intensive outpatient treatment center, lead retreats to Blue Ridge and Tybee Island, offer a Daily Practice online program, and teach Self awareness/Spiritual connection workshops. Every experience I’ve had led me to create Soul Stretch by Sarah and to share my passion for personal transformation with whoever will listen! I’ve got 4 great kids, twin grand boys and a supportive husband who brings the science of spirituality to each retreat.

Co Facilitator

Dr. Michael Galambos

I've always had a love for nature, hiking, backpacking, and exploring the solitude and expanse of our wilderness areas. Events in my life led to what I call my spiritual awakening about 10 years ago. Delving into the science of emotion was profoundly life altering. This journey has allowed me to change the way I practice medicine, allowed me to connect with individuals on a different plane, and brought me contentment and happiness on a scale previously unrecognized and unimagined. For over 30 years I have been in private practice in Gastroenterology with a sub special interest in Hepatology affiliated with Piedmont hospital. 15 years ago I helped start the liver transplant program at Piedmont Atlanta. I'm a native of Sandy Springs, Georgia. I received my BS and Master degree in organic chemistry as well as my Doctorate of medicine at Emory University. I moved to Seattle Washington for my residency but returned to Emory to complete my fellowship in Gastroenterology.

About The Soul Stretch Team

    Sarah Galambos

I'm a certified transformation coach, yoga teacher and intuitive energy/Reiki master,

My passion in life is to be the guide by your side, reminding you of the infinite power you have to heal yourself by clearing the emotional wounding and trauma stored in your body--old, stuck energy you might not even be aware you’re holding on to. I combine breath work, guided meditation, gentle grounding yoga and subtle energy work to activate your body’s innate ability to heal itself on multiple levels.

7 years ago, my dark night of the soul/spiritual awakening/nervous breakdown~whatever you want to call it...was the Universe’s not subtle throat punch to get my own head on straight. I was newly divorced and making so many unhealthy choices. When I look back, I can’t believe that was me! In a moment of clarity (being exhausted by my own BS), I resolved to get healthy on every level and not take the same issues that contributed to the end of a 20 year marriage into any new relationship I was to have in the future.

My Life Coaching program led me to uncover core wounds and recover from the toxic shame I was so tired of lugging around. Becoming a yoga teacher and Intuitive energy healer allowed me to become a master of my energy and emotions rather than being a slave to them. The biggest changes I had to make were moving out of victimhood, addiction and unconscious self sabotage. I learned to quit blaming other people, places and things for the choices I made and the way I was living. I turned my focus to intense personal development and creating a daily spiritual practice, both of which helped me take a good, hard look at myself as the common denominator in the creation of my life and circumstances. I raised my energetic vibration and got myself aligned from the inside out. I’m constantly grateful for having the guts to get honest and the courage to get real. I know that all the answers you need and happiness you want already resides within you.

I’ve experienced first hand (and held many hearts) through marriages, divorces, births, deaths, infertility, addiction and almost everything that happens in between. I’m passionate about helping you let go of self limiting beliefs to get unstuck, cultivate happiness and become empowered to create a life you love living.

A burning desire for peace and to help others heal inspired me to create Soul Stretch by Sarah~a passion project that allowed me teach at an intensive outpatient treatment center, lead retreats to Blue Ridge and Tybee Island, offer a Daily Practice online program, and teach Self awareness/Spiritual connection workshops.

They are amazing beings, my biggest supporters, loudest cheerleaders and sources of infinite gratitude. I learn something valuable from them every day.

          Kate Holway

I've been in the hospitality business in Atlanta, GA for over 30 years. My sisters and I started and grew a mom and pop catering company into a boutique business that thrived until Covid hit. At that point I was given the opportunity to follow my heart, move back to Kentucky, help raise my grandchildren and start building the foundation for a sober loving facility in Lexington.

I started on this journey of self discovery 2 years ago and nothing in my life looks the same to me except my name. Soul Retreats have played a pivotal part in my journey, and I say this with the clearest heart, I would not be the person I am without them and these amazing retreats.

Instead of looking for the person of my dreams, I'm becoming the person of my dreams.

That's why I play a dual role at each retreat--preparing fabulous food to feed the soul,   paying it forward for people that are where I once was.
